Decoration Day - June 21, 2025

In keeping with long-standing tradition, the families, loved ones and descendants of the Elrod Cemetery community will come together once again on Saturday, June 21, 2025 for the annual Elrod Cemetery Decoration Day. With folding chairs, bottled water and checkbooks in hand, family members and old friends will begin gathering under the ancient cedars at the heart of the cemetery around Noon to swap stories, share memories and place flowers on the graves of dear friends and long-departed ancestors.

A "formal" business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Board Chair George Elrod will lead the meeting that will include a full financial report and discussion of ongoing preservation, maintenance and improvement projects.
